Nokia has again publicly declared that it has no plans to launch any of the Lumia 800 or Lumia 710 in US market, in spite of the new low-end Windows Phone has been shown up on the company’s US site. According to their announcement made today, on the second day of Nokia World 2011 , Nokia execs repeated that the company is planning an entirely different line-up of Windows Phones for the US customers which is expected to launch in Q1 2012.

Rumor about the company’s handset launching plan in North America had surfaced after the Lumia 710 was unveiled on the Nokia USA site, along with the tagline “Designed for you.” Anyway instead of being a teaser for a surprise launch of the mid budget Windows Phone, Nokia explained the site change as an “error”: it had aimed to post product pages of both Lumia devices, though only to provide US mobile phone users “an idea of what they could expect,” and certainly the Lumia 800 product page should be seen online on the US site sometime today.
